Description

Springer-Nature, one of the world- wide leader in the field, funded a PhD thesis [http://www.theses.fr/2018GREAM025] through a three years bilateral contract. The results of this PhD, in addition to standard scientific activities (publications [https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01986209v1], [https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01654726v1] and open source software [https://gricad-gitlab.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/labbecy/scidetect]), were included in the standard publication process of the company. As a result from the beginning of December 2016 to the end of November 2017, more than 600,000 articles have been processed by this tool that is still operating. The first release of the tool has been echoed in Science [https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2015/03/hoax-detecting-software-spots-fake-papers].
