Description

Seek&Blastn has been designed and built in collaboration with J.Byrne (The University of Sydney). By leveraging natural language understanding technics  and standard bio-informatics tools Seek&Blastn checks if the description of nucleotide sequence reagents in biomedical research publications is correct with regards to the current knowledge of the human genome. For this work, in 2017, J.Byrne was nominated by Nature one of the Nature’s10, the ten people who mattered this year. This work has been founded by the U.S. Office of Research Integrity (ORII, U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services).
